Attorney Moti Arad, along with Attorney Michal Zamir, represent a couple who adopted two children through the Ministry of Social Affairs, both of whom were later found to be struggling with autism. The parents claim that the state failed to disclose to them relevant information it had before the adoption, information that could have influenced their decision.

On behalf of the parents, a tort claim was filed against the state for negligence in the adoption process, demanding compensation in the amount of approximately 700,000 shekels, for the mental, financial, and logistical burden involved in raising two children with special needs without the information that could have helped them prepare for this in advance.
